Location: Lincoln, ME

Start Date: 07-27-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform initial and ongoing age-appropriate nursing assessments and reassessments
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and physician orders
Administer medications safely using the five rights and evaluate patient responses
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and update them on patient changes
Provide patient and family education and ensure understanding of discharge plans
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency preparedness drills

Qualifications

Current RN license in Maine or compact state required
Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Minimum 1 year of med-surg nursing experience
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

Strong nursing assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of drug administration and age-appropriate care
Proficiency in using electronic medical records and med verify
