Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Start Date: 08-11-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 x 10-hour day shifts per week with rotating evening/night/weekend call (call: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide nursing care during the intraoperative phase of surgery
Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical procedures including robotics, general, ortho, eyes, ENT, neuro, and more
Ensure patient safety and maintain a sterile environment
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members
Participate in on-call shifts to cover emergencies and weekend surgeries

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state in good standing
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 3 years of OR experience, including circulating and scrubbing
Ability to take call and work flexible hours including evenings, nights, and weekends

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of intraoperative nursing and sterile technique
Experience with robotics (DaVinci, Mako, Stealth) and various surgical specialties
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt quickly to different cases and procedures
