Roles & Responsibilities
- Play a key role in creating beautiful smiles by assisting the orthodontist during procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Take dental X-rays and impressions with precision
- Educate patients on oral care and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and support office workflow
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent strongly preferred
- Active X-ray certification in Maryland
- Experience in orthodontic or dental settings a plus
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and equipment
- Sterilization and infection control best practices
- Proficiency with dental software and record-keeping
- Comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment
