Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare and organize treatment rooms for patient care
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed
- Provide patients with post-operative instructions and care guidance
- Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment notes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
- X-ray certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency with dental software and scheduling systems
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Commitment to infection control and patient safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
