Location: Carmichael, California

Start Date: 07-07-2026

End Date: 10-06-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with every other weekend and rotating holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Review patient charts and assess needs for palliative care
Open goals of care discussions and educate on disease process
Complete advance directives and POLSTs
Hold family meetings and provide end-of-life support
Attend daily rounds and coordinate with interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

2-5 years recent experience in palliative and/or hospice setting
ICU or oncology experience is a plus
Current BLS certification required
ELNEC certification preferred
Strong acute care and clinical thinking skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
