Location: Omaha, NE

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), every third weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate in the operating room during C-sections
Perform comprehensive newborn assessments and routine baby care
Titrate drips such as Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
Provide high-risk and routine obstetric care to laboring and antepartum patients
Float to postpartum to care for both moms and infants as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OBTs, residents, and CRNAs

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
Valid driver's license (for radius verification)
Must be able to circulate in the OR
At least 2 years of L&D experience preferred
Team player with a positive attitude and flexibility

Knowledge & Skills

BLS and NRP certified
Proficient in circulating for cesarean sections
Skilled in newborn assessments and routine baby care
Experience titrating Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and pain medications
Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines and EFM systems (Obix)
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
