Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, holidays as scheduled

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced LDRP unit
Attend deliveries independently and assist in cesarean sections
Monitor and manage high-risk pregnancies including preeclampsia, diabetes, and psychosocial issues
Administer and titrate critical drips such as Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin
Collaborate with a supportive team including OB hospitalists, NNPs, and anesthesia 24/7
Function seamlessly in both labor and postpartum care to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience required; will consider 1 year with multiple travel assignments
Active RN license in Washington or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Comfortable with independent delivery attendance and circulating in C-sections

Knowledge & Skills

Strong proficiency in LDRP nursing including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
Skilled in fetal monitoring interpretation (Centricity system)
Knowledge of high-risk obstetrics and ability to handle emergencies
Adaptable to unit workflows and open to feedback for continuous improvement
