Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (9-hour shifts, one day off per week)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert nursing care in interventional radiology for a Level I trauma center
Assist with body IR procedures including chemo embolization, Y-90, GJ tubes, IVC filters, and angiograms
Perform critical pre- and post-procedure assessments on both outpatient and inpatient populations
Maintain strict sterile field during procedures and pass competency SIMs lab
Monitor telemetry and ventilated patients as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including IR techs, CT, Nuclear Medicine, and US techs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of IR or ICU experience with Neuro IR experience
Level I Trauma experience required
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts allowed)
No local candidates within 50 miles (driver's license is proof of residence)
Natural hair color and no facial piercings; men must be clean-shaven for fit test

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner EMR
Strong sterile field technique and aseptic practices
Skillful in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Knowledge of body IR and neuro endovascular procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
