Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 0630-1830 or 1830-0630, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a 33-bed ICU
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, titrate drips, and manage ventilators
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver trauma, cardiac, and stroke care
Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed, maintaining appropriate patient ratios
Participate in open-book exams during orientation to ensure competency

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience preferred
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Willingness to float to other units as needed
Driver's license required for radius verification

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in titrating cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation
Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and documentation
Ability to manage patients with trauma, sepsis, heart failure, and respiratory distress
Strong communication and teamwork skills
