Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to patients with trauma, cardiac conditions, overdose, sepsis, and respiratory distress
Titrate and monitor cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation
Interpret telemetry strips and monitor vital signs using GE monitors
Manage ventilator support including nasal cannula to vent
Collaborate with healthcare support staff and perform floating to PCU or MedSurg as needed
Participate in orientation and pass an open-book exam during onboarding

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience strongly preferred
Driver's license required for distance verification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Ability to titrate various drips and manage ventilators
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for diverse patient populations
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
