Location: Centennial, CO

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating days/nights, 6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule, schedule released 4-6 weeks in advance with Just-In-Time (JIT) facility assignment option

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate patient care in a high-acuity ICU float pool
Titrate critical drips and manage complex patient needs
Serve as charge nurse, coordinating team assignments and responding to codes
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms
Float across multiple ICU types including MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience and prior charge nurse experience required
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
Comfortable titrating all critical drips
Experience with Epic preferred
First-time travelers need 3+ years ICU experience and Epic experience
Must be willing to float within a 60-mile radius zone including multiple hospitals

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care nursing
Charge nurse leadership
Telemetry interpretation
Respiratory management including vents, BiPAP, CPAP
Proficiency in titrating pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, insulin
Epic electronic health record
