Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM including every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU
Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Administer medications and perform advanced life support interventions as needed
Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery expectations

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent ICU nursing experience preferred
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced cardiac life support and trauma nursing care
Neurological assessment and stroke scale expertise
Electronic medical record documentation
Patient advocacy and family communication
