Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adults 55+ in a 26-bed behavioral health unit
Manage patient ratios of 1:6 while ensuring safety and dignity
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patients with dementia, bipolar disorder, and other psychiatric conditions
Monitor and respond to patient needs in a secure environment with access to a seclusion room
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in required orientation and ongoing training

Qualifications

Active RN license in Utah or compact state
Current BLS certification
Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing preferred
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every third weekend

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of geriatric psychiatric care
Strong communication and de-escalation skills
Ability to work independently within a supportive team
Familiarity with seclusion protocols and patient safety standards
