Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, plus call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations including general, vascular, and procedural studies
Deliver compassionate patient care while obtaining clear diagnostic images
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate results
Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols for optimal imaging outcomes
Document findings thoroughly using Fuji EPIC systems

Qualifications

Current RVT certification required with strong vascular experience
RDMS certification (RDCS is a plus)
BLS certification
Proven experience in ultrasound procedures
Ability to work variable 10-hour shifts and participate in call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in vascular ultrasound techniques
Proficiency with Phillips ultrasound equipment
Strong understanding of general and procedural imaging
Familiarity with Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS systems
Excellent communication and patient care skills
