Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a variety of patients including those with COVID, respiratory issues, GI conditions, diabetes, and post-surgical needs
Interpret telemetry strips and sign documentation at least once per shift
Collaborate with remote monitor techs and the interdisciplinary team
Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified to support patient care across units
Administer set-rate drips such as Diltiazem and monitor patient response
Support patients recovering from general, orthopedic, and spinal surgeries

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Some background with general and orthopedic surgical patients, CVA, and TIA preferred
Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation time

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and reading tele strips
BLS and ACLS protocols
Cerner documentation system
Care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Patient education and discharge planning
