Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Interpret telemetry strips and sign documentation each shift to ensure patient safety
Provide compassionate care for a diverse patient population including post-surgical, stroke, and cardiac patients
Collaborate with remote monitor techs and the interdisciplinary team for seamless care delivery
Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified to support hospital-wide needs
Administer set-rate drips such as Diltiazem while monitoring patient response

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to read basic telemetry strips confidently
Experience with general, orthopedic, CVA, and TIA patients preferred
Cerner experience recommended for smooth onboarding

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and strip reading
Cerner electronic medical record system
Post-surgical and stroke patient care
BIPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen management
Strong assessment and communication skills
