Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to telemetry and medical-surgical patients across multiple units
Monitor cardiac rhythms and titrate cardiac drips safely and effectively
Interpret EKGs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and support staff to deliver seamless patient care
Float between Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses, adapting quickly to new units and patient populations
Educate patients and families about post-procedure recovery, medications, and discharge plans

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIHSS certification preferred
Strong cardiac monitoring and EKG interpretation skills
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to contract start
Minimum one year of recent telemetry or med-surg experience

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac drip titration expertise
Centralized telemetry monitoring experience
Strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities
Flexibility to float between Telemetry, MedSurg, and observation areas
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
