Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 6:45 AM - 4:15 PM + call

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional circulating and scrub support in a busy operating room
Collaborate closely with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure smooth procedures
Prepare and maintain sterile fields while anticipating the needs of each case
Provide compassionate patient care before, during, and after surgery
Apply your strong ortho expertise to help patients get back on their feet

Qualifications

Active BLS and ACLS certifications are required
Minimum 5 years of operating room experience preferred
Proven circulating and scrub skills in a variety of cases
Strong ortho experience is essential for this role
Current, unrestricted Maine nursing license

Knowledge & Skills

Expert knowledge of sterile technique and OR protocols
Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and respond quickly
Strong communication and teamwork in high-pressure situations
Comfortable managing call responsibilities and variable case loads
