Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health
Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Start Date: 05-27-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, every-other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient care
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques and state regulations
- Document patient information according to established standards of care
- Develop and execute individualized patient plans of care tailored to each patient's unique needs
- Participate in department performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes
- Apply critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately
Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin or Multi-state RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Degree in Nursing with education verification
- Experience in Behavioral Health or Psychiatric nursing preferred
Education
- Degree in Nursing - education verification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of the nursing process and medication administration
- Excellent patient documentation and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Commitment to patient safety and delivering a positive patient experience
