Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients on a 28-bed PCU/Med-Surg unit
- Administer chemotherapy and titrate drips such as insulin and Cardizem while monitoring patient response
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and dietitians to deliver holistic care
- Float to other PCU and Med-Surg units as needed, bringing your expertise wherever it's most valuable
- Perform hourly rounding and focus on patient experience to ensure comfort and safety
- Support patients and families through every stage of the oncology journey, from diagnosis to remission or peaceful transitions
Qualifications
- Active RN license and 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required
- EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred
- Open to first-time travelers who are ready to learn and grow
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius of Omaha and have a valid driver's license at submission
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records and Alaris IV pumps
- Comfortable with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Skilled in chemotherapy administration and drip titration
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Adaptable to floating between PCU and Med-Surg units
