Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate intermediate care to cardiac and vascular patients
- Monitor and titrate critical drips including Amio, nitro, nicardipine, epi, and cardizem
- Interpret telemetry strips and respond quickly to cardiac changes
- Support post-surgical CVICU patients during their first 24 hours of recovery
- Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and cardiology teams around the clock
- Float to same-level and lower-acuity units as needed to support the broader team
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- At least 1 year of experience with cardiac or vascular patient populations
- Comfortable titrating drips and interpreting telemetry independently
- Valid driver's license for radius verification at submission
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry interpretation and arrhythmia recognition
- Titratable drip management for blood pressure control
- BiPAP, CPAP, and nasal cannula troubleshooting
- Strong assessment skills for CHF, A-fib RVR, CVA, and post-cath patients
- Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90 percent or higher
