Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients on a 28-bed PCU/Med-Surg unit
- Administer chemotherapy and manage complex drips including heparin, cardizem, and protonix
- Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic monitoring to keep patients stable and safe
- Collaborate with an amazing multidisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, social workers, and dietitians
- Float to same-level units when needed and embrace every opportunity to grow your skills
- Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that make a real difference
Qualifications
- Active RN license and 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required
- EPIC experience within the last 6 months is helpful but not required
- Valid driver's license to confirm you live outside the 50-mile radius
- Willingness to float to other PCU and Med-Surg units as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing expertise
- Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz)
- EPIC electronic medical record system
- Alaris IV pumps and specialty lift equipment
- Strong teamwork, cultural sensitivity, and genuine patient advocacy
