Location: St Johnsbury, Vermont
Start Date: 06-24-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week, 36 hours total, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate exceptional patient care for adult and occasional pediatric patients
- Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care
- Lead a talented team to meet the unique needs of a diverse patient population
- Utilize the innovative Nursing Process to make critical decisions
- Ensure holistic care addressing age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs
- Collaborate with the Unit Director, Clinical Nurse Lead, and Nursing Supervisor
Qualifications
- Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure
- BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association
- At least 3 years of acute care experience
- Meditech experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of the Nursing Process
- Acute care expertise
- Ability to care for both adult and occasional pediatric patients
- Comfortable working in a 25-bed critical access hospital setting
