Physical Therapist - Inpatient

Location: Zanesville, Ohio

Start Date: 06-22-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift with varied start times, Monday-Friday with one weekend shift per month, flexible 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, or four 10-hour shifts Wednesday-Saturday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional inpatient physical therapy care to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurosurgical procedures, and complex medical conditions
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients
Support patients through their recovery journey in critical care, including those who are intubated and medically complex
Document patient progress using EPIC EMR and contribute to quality care initiatives
Deliver compassionate care across a variety of diagnoses including joint replacements, CABG, vestibular disorders, and general surgery recovery

Qualifications

Active Ohio Physical Therapy license required
BLS/BCLS certification required
2 years of acute care experience preferred
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Familiarity with orthopedic and joint replacement post-operative care is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in acute care physical therapy
Experience with orthopedic, neurosurgical, and cardiovascular patient populations
Ability to work with medically complex and critical care patients
Comfortable with EPIC EMR documentation
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
