Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday), holidays rotate with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to mothers and babies in a busy Birthing Center handling 150-180 births monthly
Independently attend deliveries and circulate during C-sections with confidence and skill
Assist with catching and transitioning newborns while ensuring safe, supportive care
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to support high-risk patients
Float within the LDRP unit to support postpartum and mother-baby couplets as needed
Collaborate with 24/7 OB hospitalists, neonatologists, and anesthesia providers for seamless care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with strong travel history
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP nursing expertise with high-risk OB patients
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance-use cases
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Experience with Centricity perinatal EFM system
Adaptable to new workflows, policies, and constructive feedback
