Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including oncology and trauma PCU patients
Administer chemotherapy and monitor for side effects
Titrate drips such as heparin, cardizem, and insulin as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Maintain a positive and supportive environment while upholding patient safety and hourly rounding
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed

Qualifications

1+ years of recent PCU or oncology nursing experience
Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Chemotherapy certification preferred (required for this role)
First-time travelers welcome to apply!
Must be willing to take an open-book pass/fail exam during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ACLS, BLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
Ability to manage ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan, EV-1000)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
