Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends and holidays, 36 hours/week, call rotation with 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality X-ray imaging procedures including brain, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities
Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize patient care
Participate in call rotation and respond within 30 minutes when needed
Float to Mercy Southwest location (6.5 miles away) as required

Qualifications

Valid ARRT certification
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of recent X-ray tech experience
Ability to start IVs? No, but must be comfortable with contrast administration via IV if needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in GE and Toshiba imaging equipment
Experience with Radnet and Merge Unity PACS/EMR systems
Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
