Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality PET/CT scans following physician orders and protocols
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures with care and compassion
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patients for adverse reactions
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure accuracy and safety
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Document procedures and maintain patient records with precision

Qualifications

Valid ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiography
State of California license as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology or nuclear medicine program
Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in PET/CT imaging techniques and radiation safety
Proficiency in IV starts and contrast administration
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology for accurate image acquisition
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
