Location: Omaha, NE

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, holidays every third

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced PCU setting
Titrate and monitor cardiac drips including Cardizem, betablockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with a dynamic team including charge nurses and patient care techs
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed to support patient care
Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex cases like cardiac, nephrology, strokes, and DM
Participate in continuous EEG monitoring and ensure patient safety

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or step-down experience
Driver's license required at submittal (to verify radius)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to titrate drips and manage cardiac patients
Positive attitude and willingness to help others
Adaptability to float between units
