Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and implement personalized rehabilitation programs to help patients regain mobility and strength
• Evaluate patients and create tailored treatment plans for optimal recovery
• Document patient progress using Electronic Medical Records with accuracy and care
• Supervise and mentor PT Assistants and Aides to ensure exceptional patient care
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate quality treatment
• Educate patients and answer questions to keep them comfortable and informed
• Manage scheduling and follow-up with front office staff for seamless patient experiences
• Stay current with PT skills, certifications, and best practices

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy license in California or eligibility to obtain one
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Strong computer skills including EMR, Word, and internet navigation
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist patients with mobility needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education

• Degree in Physical Therapy required

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient evaluation and rehabilitation program development
• EMR documentation and clinical reporting
• Supervising PT Assistants and Aides
• Understanding of billing policies including Medicare, work-comp, and private pay
• DX and ICD-10 coding proficiency
• HIPAA compliance and patient privacy best practices
• Independent decision-making for patient care
