Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 05-25-2026

End Date: 08-24-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, team scheduling with weekend requirements every third for days and every other for nights

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert respiratory care to patients from neonates through geriatrics across all inpatient floors
Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry with precision and care
Collaborate closely with providers, nurses, and fellow therapists to ensure seamless patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to varying patient needs and care environments throughout the hospital
Manage time effectively while maintaining flexibility and strong communication with the care team

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NRP and PALS preferred
Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience strongly preferred
Valid driver's license required for radius verification
Must live outside the 50-mile radius and not be employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion ventilators
Experience with Vision, V60, V30, and Respironics S/T BiPAPs
Skilled in Airvo2 high-flow systems
Strong time management, adaptability, and teamwork abilities
Excellent communication and willingness to learn new techniques
