Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts, schedule options available
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional nursing care across the entire Outpatient Services area including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, and Pre-operative Clinic
- Deliver comprehensive peri-operative education and support to patients and families
- Monitor and recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications with expert assessment skills
- Float to support hospital needs including conscious sedation for special procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transitions through all phases of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Washington state
- Minimum 2 years of PACU and pre/post-operative experience
- Current ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in peri-operative settings
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in nursing assessment and peri-operative education
- Proficiency in recognizing post-anesthesia complications
- Ability to provide conscious sedation support
- Flexibility to float across multiple outpatient service areas
