Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Renton, Washington
Start Date: 06-15-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 40 hours guaranteed, no weekends, no call
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Help patients stretch and exercise targeted muscle groups to improve mobility
- Collaborate closely with Physical Therapists to deliver personalized care plans
- Guide patients through balance training and other essential techniques
- Assist patients safely from wheelchairs or walkers to therapy areas
- Educate families on effective at-home techniques for continued progress
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming therapy environment
- Handle administrative tasks like scheduling and documentation with care
Qualifications
- Active PTA license in Washington or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of PTA experience required
- LTC or SNF experience strongly preferred
- Current AHA certifications required at start date
- Skills checklist completed within the last year
