Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for neuro/trauma patients in a Level II trauma NT/SICU unit
- Monitor patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains
- Deliver compassionate critical care with a 2:1 patient ratio
- Float to Cardiovascular, Telemetry, ICU/CCU, or Med Surg units as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current active California RN license
- Minimum 5 years of acute critical care experience
- Previous traveler experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- EPIC charting experience
- Level II trauma critical care experience
Knowledge & Skills
- Neuro/trauma patient care expertise
- ICP monitor management
- CRRT and lumbar drain experience
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Ability to float across multiple units
- EPIC electronic medical record proficiency
