Location: Arcata, California

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC - three 12-hour shifts weekly
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver evidence-based treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on procedures, medications, and recovery expectations
- Document assessments and interventions accurately to support continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active California RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 3 years of ICU or critical care experience
- Proof of negative TB screen within the last 12 months
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making in high-acuity settings
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency with cardiac monitoring and ventilator management
- Ability to remain calm and focused during emergencies
