Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to telemetry patients including CHF, respiratory, GI, diabetic, and post-cath cases
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and sign off on strips each shift to ensure patient safety
- Monitor and manage set-rate drips such as Diltiazem/Cardizem
- Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified to support team needs across the facility
- Educate and support patients recovering from total joint replacements and stroke-related conditions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% score within two attempts
- Experience reading basic telemetry strips
- Some background with CVA and TIA patients preferred
- Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation time
- Total joint replacement experience is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Care for cardiac, respiratory, GI, and diabetic patients
- Post-cath recovery and total joint replacement support
- Cerner electronic medical record system
- Collaboration with nurse aides and respiratory therapy teams
