Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate emergency nursing care to patients in critical situations
- Assess, triage, and stabilize patients arriving in the ER
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver timely interventions
- Monitor vital signs and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and next steps
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
- Previous ER or acute care experience a plus
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Emergency nursing protocols
- Triage and rapid assessment
- IV insertion and medication administration
- Electronic health record documentation
- Team collaboration under pressure
