Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times between 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM and end times between 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM; occasional weekend coverage required with a compensatory day off during the week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional physical therapy care to acute care patients across multiple hospital units
Evaluate and treat diverse patient populations including ortho, total joints, ICU, ventilated patients, med-surg, oncology, and cardiology
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Provide specialized therapy interventions for cardiac surgery patients and complex medical cases
Document patient progress using Cerner EMR system

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patient care

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy expertise across multiple specialties
Comfort working with ventilated patients in ICU settings
Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records
Ability to adapt to varied patient populations and diagnoses
Strong clinical decision-making and patient assessment skills
