Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; may require a Saturday or Sunday depending on weekend needs

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy care across acute care units including MedSurg, Telemetry, ICU, Oncology, and Cardiology
Deliver hands-on treatment to ventilated patients and those recovering from cardiac surgeries
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Evaluate and treat a wide variety of patient populations with orthopedic and total joint needs
Document efficiently using Cerner EMR to ensure seamless care coordination

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patient care
Comfortable working with diverse diagnoses across MedSurg, Oncology, and Cardiology units

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy expertise
Cerner EMR proficiency
Experience with ventilated patients and ICU therapy
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation skills
Ability to adapt to varied patient populations and needs
