Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with evening, weekend, and holiday call required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative nursing care in a dynamic four-suite operating room
Assist with a variety of procedures including robotic, laparoscopic, orthopedic, gynecologic, and podiatry cases
Collaborate closely with surgeons, techs, and first assistants to ensure smooth case flow
Respond promptly to call needs within 30 minutes to support after-hours emergencies
Document accurately in Epic while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
Current BLS certification
Robot and GI experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Epic electronic medical record system
Robotic and laparoscopic surgical techniques
GI endoscopy procedures
Perioperative nursing best practices
Call response protocols and emergency readiness
