Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 3:00 PM, and 11:30 PM; 4 weekend shifts required in an 8-week period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, hands-on care to neuro rehab patients recovering from TBI, stroke, and complex surgeries
Partner closely with patients and families to create personalized care plans that support healing and independence
Administer IV therapy, manage wounds, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team of therapists and physicians
Float to various MedSurg units as needed, bringing your expertise wherever it's most valuable
Maintain a calm, low-stimulation environment that promotes recovery for our 90% neuro-focused patient population

Qualifications

Active RN license with strong MedSurg experience required
BLS certification
Rehab experience preferred
Comfortable with high-level communication and family involvement
Must pass dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts allowed) and complete SIMs Lab skills checkoff
Clean-shaven for men; natural hair color and no facial piercings required for fit testing

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Neuro rehab patient care including TBI, CVA, and post-transplant recovery
IV therapy and wound management
Sterile field maintenance and central line dressing changes
Foley catheter insertion
Strong communication and patient-family partnership skills
