Virtual Monitor Tech
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Start Date: 06-23-2026
End Date: 09-22-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for multiple facilities from a centralized command center
- Recognize and report dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias following established protocols
- Accurately document and communicate cardiac rhythm changes to local RN staff
- Follow proper communication channels during routine and emergency situations
- Contribute to improved patient outcomes and department metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience demonstrating job knowledge
- Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation
- Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam (lethal rhythms are pass/fail with one chance)
- Ability to work 2-3 day shifts for orientation if assigned to night shift
- Must commit exclusively to this assignment without other concurrent jobs
