Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM; every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate intermediate care to cardiac and vascular patients
- Titrate critical drips including Amio, nitro, nicardipine, epi, and cardizem
- Interpret telemetry and respond promptly to cardiac rhythm changes
- Support post-surgical CVICU patients during their first 24 hours of recovery
- Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and cardiology teams around the clock
- Float to same or lower acuity units as needed to support excellent patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of experience with CVU or similar cardiac patient population
- Strong telemetry interpretation and drip titration skills
- Valid driver's license for radius verification at submittal
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry interpretation and remote monitoring
- Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
- BiPAP, CPAP, and nasal cannula management
- Post-cath lab, EP, and structural heart patient care
- Comfortable floating across cardiac and vascular units
