Sonographer
Location: Durango, Colorado
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, plus call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations including general, vascular, and procedural studies
- Deliver compassionate care while completing 8-10 scans daily
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging results
- Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols in a busy radiology department
- Document findings using Fuji EPIC systems and contribute to excellent patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current RVT certification with strong vascular experience required
- RDMS certification required, RDCS is a plus
- BLS certification required
- Experience with ultrasound procedures preferred
- Ability to work 4 10-hour shifts plus call rotation
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in general, vascular, and procedural ultrasound imaging
- Familiarity with Phillips ultrasound equipment
- Experience with Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS systems
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
- Ability to handle 8-10 studies per day efficiently
