Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform independent bedside swallow evaluations and provide follow-up care
Conduct communication evaluations and deliver ongoing treatment
Administer standardized tests in the outpatient setting
Treat a diverse patient population including post-concussion, CVA, TBI, and head & neck cancer patients
Collaborate with the rehab team across inpatient and outpatient departments

Qualifications

Current CCC-SLP certification required
BLS certification required
Experience with bedside swallow evaluations and communication assessments
Ability to work independently in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Knowledge & Skills

Bedside swallow evaluation expertise
Communication evaluation proficiency
Outpatient standardized test administration
Experience with stroke, TBI, and head & neck cancer populations
