Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day and night shifts available, self-scheduling with balanced schedules, 3 weekends in a 6-week period, rotating holidays, call requirements based on census

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, postpartum, and mother-baby phases
Monitor and titrate critical medications including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10
Interpret fetal monitoring strips and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Support families through high-acuity situations including high BMI, diabetes, and substance use challenges
Collaborate with a minimum 2-RN staffing model to ensure safe, quality care
Float within Zone 1 when needed to support sister facilities and maintain excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact nursing license
Current ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications
LDRP experience required
Comfortable titrating drips and reading own fetal monitoring strips
Willingness to take call and work rotating holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills using OBIX system
Experience with bubble CPAP and newborn stabilization
Ability to manage high-risk obstetric patients with diabetes and substance use disorders
Excellent communication and teamwork in a small-unit environment
Flexibility to float within Zone 1 when census allows
