Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care to laboring mothers and postpartum families in a supportive environment
- Circulate C-sections with confidence and precision as part of a skilled surgical team
- Monitor fetal heart rates and respond quickly to any changes during high-risk deliveries
- Collaborate with OB techs, charge nurses, and on-call neonatologists to ensure seamless care
- Float between L&D and Postpartum units while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
- Support birth plans that matter deeply to families while following AWHONN guidelines
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- 2 years of recent L&D/PP experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications
- Experience circulating C-sections is essential
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Travel experience is a plus but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fetal monitoring skills using Fetal Link system
- Comfortable caring for patients 34 weeks and above, including high-risk deliveries
- Ability to follow detailed birth plans with empathy and professionalism
- Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced OB setting
- Adaptable to floating between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units
