Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients across PCU and Med/Surg units
- Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
- Monitor ventilators and perform advanced hemodynamic assessments to keep patients stable
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and educators to create holistic care plans
- Float within similar levels of care to support unit needs and build versatile skills
- Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that make every interaction count
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
- Chemotherapy certification strongly preferred
- First-time travelers welcome with a passion for learning
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities in oncology and PCU settings
- Comfort with EPIC electronic medical records and Alaris IV pumps
- Willingness to learn ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring on the job
- Team-oriented mindset with genuine empathy for diverse patient populations
