Location: Merced, California

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday schedule with potential for 10-hour shifts; weekend coverage split Wednesday-Sunday and Sunday-Wednesday for PT travelers
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional outpatient physical therapy services across diverse patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create personalized treatment plans that truly make a difference
- Support patients through their rehabilitation journey in both acute inpatient and outpatient settings
- Contribute to specialized programs including early mobility initiatives and stroke recovery protocols
- Build meaningful connections with patients while helping them regain strength, mobility, and independence
Qualifications
- Current California Physical Therapist license required
- BLS certification
- Experience working with diverse patient populations across the age spectrum
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Outpatient therapy expertise with orthopedic, neurological, and medical conditions
- Ability to float between inpatient acute care and outpatient settings
- Comfort working with both adult and pediatric populations
- Knowledge of early mobility protocols and stroke rehabilitation
- Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities
