Location: Redwood City, California
Start Date: 06-08-2026
End Date: 09-07-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times between 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM and end times between 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM; may require a Saturday or Sunday shift with a corresponding day off during the week
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional physical therapy services across acute care units including med-surg, tele, ICU, and oncology
- Deliver hands-on care to patients recovering from cardiac surgeries and total joint replacements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create personalized treatment plans
- Support ventilated patients in the ICU with specialized therapy interventions
- Help patients regain mobility and independence during their hospital stay
- Document patient progress using Cerner EMR system
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in California
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
- Experience with orthopedic conditions and total joint replacements
- Comfort working with ventilated patients in ICU settings
- Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
